Devin Setoguchi Fail: Wild Winger's Epic Shootout Blunder Against Canadiens (VIDEO)

At one point, Minnesota's Devin Setoguchi was one of the heroes of the night. Trailing Montreal, 4-1, entering the final four minutes, the Wild mounted an incredible comeback that was capped by a game-tying goal from Setoguchi with just nine seconds to play in regulation.

Unfortunately, nobody is going to remember that.

Instead, most fans will probably remember Setoguchi's epic blooper on the Wild's final shootout attempt. Needing a goal to extend the shootout, Setoguchi made his way toward the goalie but suddenly lost the puck. Then he lost his footing and fell backwards onto the ice.

Canadiens netminder Carey Price stormed out of the crease to celebrate as the Wild winger lay face down on the ice in embarrassment.

"That is the most bizarre ending to a hockey game I've seen in a long, long time," the announcer said.

Yes, indeed it is.

Here are several more epic sports fails. Where does this miss rank amongst these?
